Terms of Service

Last updated September 13, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Perfect (“we”, “us”) covering your use of Perfect Mail — the web app, the Mac app and the iOS app (together, “the app”). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you are using the app for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

What the app does

Perfect Mail is an assistant for your Gmail inbox and Google Calendar. It reads your mail, reads it aloud, drafts and sends replies you dictate, archives and labels messages you tell it to, and creates calendar events and to-dos from what you say. It does these things only on your instruction and only on the Google account you connect.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done from your account.
  • Connecting a Google account grants the app access to that account’s mail and calendar. You can withdraw that access at any time from your profile page or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Your content

Your email, calendar, contacts, recordings and everything else you bring into the app stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models.

Team sharing

If you share your inbox with a teammate, that person can read, and if you allow it act on, the mail in that inbox until you stop sharing. Share only with people you trust to see that mail. Team admins can remove members and end shares.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

  • send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful;
  • access an account or inbox you are not authorised to use;
  • probe, scan, overload or interfere with the app or the services it relies on;
  • resell the app or build a competing service by scraping it.

Your use of Gmail and Google Calendar through the app is also subject to Google’s own terms and policies.

Third-party services

The app relies on Google APIs, AI services for transcription and drafting, and a hosted database. Their availability affects the app’s availability. Where those services process your data, the privacy policy explains what is sent and why.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what the app does, we will tell you in the app or by email.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@useperfect.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is”. Transcriptions and AI drafts can be wrong; review anything before it is sent on your behalf. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Perfect is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, the date above will change and you will be told in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
